@pooja195 If 1 factor of 15x3 + 44x2 + 20x − 16 is (x + 2), what are the other 2 factors? (3x − 4) and (5x + 2) (5x + 4) and (3x − 4) (5x − 4) and (3x + 4) (3x + 4) and (5x − 2)

@Somy @inkyvoyd @whpalmer4 @welshfella @ganeshie8 @Astrophysics @Abhisar can any of you help with this? and i may need help with 4 more after this one.

just replied you on the mathematics section

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

If you know that \((x+2)\) is a factor of the polynomial, divide the polynomial by \((x+2)\) to get a simpler polynomial with the same factors, and factor that. Another way you can approach this, given that you have a fixed set of answers to choose from, is that if you have a polynomial \[P(x) = (x+a)(x+b)(x+c)...(x+z)\]the constant term in the polynomial will be \[a*b*c*...*z\]You can eliminate two possible choices here by that reasoning.
