OpenStudy (jellybot23):

A proportional graph has direct variation and all the values should reduce down to an equivalent fraction. Also a proportional relationship has a graph that passes through the origin

With that info, I hope you can answer the question ;)

Thank a ton!!

thanks*

OpenStudy (jellybot23):

You're welcome!

Actually, I have one more question!! What if it passes through the origin, but the rate of change isn't the same? Would it still be proportional even though the rate of change isn't the same? Or does it have to pass through the origin AND have the same rate of change?

OpenStudy (jellybot23):

A proportional graph has to have a constant rate of change, so it can reduce down to the same fraction. :)
