@Qwertty123

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

Hello! :) Okay so you know that... = 2(3 + 6) = 2(9) = ?

OpenStudy (thoritegem):

I got 9.42 for @563blackghost 's example. And that would simplify to 9.4. And 18 for @Qwertty123 's example. So, I believe that it is A. But I'm still not completely sure.

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

Answer (1): 18 mm assuming it's a rectangle ---------------- = (12 * 2 * 22/7)/2 + 2(12) = (528/7)/2 + 24 = 264/7 + 168/7

OpenStudy (thoritegem):

Ok, but that isn't even an answer choice so... I'm not completley sure still, sorry.

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

Answer (1): 18 mm assuming it's a rectangle ---------------- = (12 * 2 * 22/7)/2 + 2(12) = (528/7)/2 + 24 = 264/7 + 168/7 = 432/7 or 61 5/7 Answer (2): 61 5/7 centimeters OR 61.7 1/7 centimeters...

OpenStudy (thoritegem):

Yeah, but that's not an answer choice... :/

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

I don't know...

563blackghost (563blackghost):

sorry im late

563blackghost (563blackghost):

@ThoriteGem

OpenStudy (devilchild345):

you would take the perimeter of the rectangle which is 18 and add half the circumference of a circle with a radius of 3 which is 9.42 so your final answer would be 18+9.42

OpenStudy (thoritegem):

so 21.42?

OpenStudy (thoritegem):

and @563blackghost it was fine

OpenStudy (devilchild345):

yeah try 21.4

563blackghost (563blackghost):

yea try 21.4....im not really sure about that answer but you can try...
