Question in the comments, Please help me!
The formula for a direct variation equation is f(x) = kx. You have a value for x and a value for f(x). So solve for k and replace the k in f(x) = kx with that number you found. That should give you the answer :)
Did you get it?
No..not yet @kayders1997 Do you think you show me how to do it, I trying to study this, but I keep getting stuck
am*
okay so you have f(x)=-9 when x=3 the equation for direct variation is f(x)=xk so you have your x and you have your f(x) so you plug in your value -9=3k do you understand where this is coming from?
Or you could think of it this way you have the number x when you plug x (3) into one of the equations when are you going to get -9 f(x)
does this make sense @Ms-Brains
yes
good :)
Do you have any other questions?
Yes, one more but I will post in a second
Okay
Wait, so he problem we just worked on, the answer would be...B?
Yes
Are you going to put your other question here or a different tab?
A different one, so you can get a medal!
Okay :)
Do you wanna comment my name than? Just in case im helping someone else
