his unit for base area is slightly wrong - you can probably see, it is not a length but an area so the units need to be... you should know. (an even more general formula for volume of prisms is (area of the base x length = volume). This applies even if the base is not a regular shape - i.e. you don't need to know the formula for the area of a triangle because you are already told its area. It is the same formula as for rectangular prisms, because for a rectangular prism when you multiply (first side x second side) you have the area of one face, then you multiplying by the third side to get the volume, so that kind of question actually has one more step.)
