MsBrains (ms-brains):

How do I solve this..?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

http://prntscr.com/aavxt5

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

this means that we should find the square roots first

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

so sqrt of 6=2.4494

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

now we just multiply that by 15

MsBrains (ms-brains):

That is 36.7410

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

yes now multiply the sqrt of 6 again by 3

MsBrains (ms-brains):

2.4494 * 3= 7.3482

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

good now just add :)

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

that is one of the best ways to make sure is correct but now that you know how it works I will tell you the easier way, when they have like radicals (as in the same number under the sqrt) you just have to add the fron numbers and add the same radical which in this case would be 15+3=18 and add radical=18sqrt6

MsBrains (ms-brains):

So A is correct?

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

yes :)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Thank you!

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

np :)
