What is the first set of reactions in cellular respiration called? A. Mitochondrion B. Organelle C. Calvin cycle D. Krebs cycle

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

Organelle is a structure located inside of a cell (example: mitochondria, Rough ER, smooth ER, golgi, ribosomes... the list goes on) so it can't be that. Mitochondrion is an organelle so it is also not a process. Calvin cycle is the process for making carbon compounds in plants at night (generally speaking). The Kreb's Cycle is a cycle for producing ATP in the mitochondria which is a part (possibly the first part) of respiration if you ignore glycolysis as being the first step so I would pick the Kreb's Cycle.
