OpenStudy (welshfella):
the solution is the point where they intersect
You can make an estimate where they intersect form the graph.
OpenStudy (kevin8767):
oh ok how do i?
OpenStudy (welshfella):
Looks like 7 for the x coordinate
OpenStudy (welshfella):
they will intersect just to the right of the graph

wil it be at y = 4 or a liitle more than y = 4?
OpenStudy (kevin8767):
is d correct?
OpenStudy (welshfella):
how can d be correct? x = 9 for d not 7. The first number in the parentheses is the x coordinate.
OpenStudy (welshfella):
secon number is y coordinate.
OpenStudy (kevin8767):
oh i get mixed up with the numbers

oh its a
OpenStudy (welshfella):
why a?
OpenStudy (kevin8767):
u said the 7 was the x and i just saw the line touch the 4
OpenStudy (welshfella):
the INTERSECTION is the solution. You cant see the intersection but you can estimate where it is.
OpenStudy (welshfella):
does it intersect at y = 4?

no it passes
OpenStudy (welshfella):
right
so thers only one left
OpenStudy (kevin8767):
b
OpenStudy (welshfella):
right It looks like it will intersect at about y = 4.3 which is close to 13/3
OpenStudy (kevin8767):
oh ok i got ty i got on how to find it.
