dumb question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does anyone know how to type sine, cos, or tan inverse into a calculator? Because I have no idea

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

"2nd" -> cos, sin, or tan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any of them I guess

Nnesha (nnesha):

\[\rm arc \tan = \tan^{-1}\]

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

I'm saying press the "2nd" button then one of the trig functions in the calculator

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

That's how it is for most calculators

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay but what if the calculator I use doesn't have a "2nd" button?

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

What calculator are you using?

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Most if not all calculators do, or you can just use a online calculator.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay thank you @Astrophysics
