OpenStudy (anonymous):

which one is correct ans?

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

MissSmartiez here, please provide me with the accurate information. In this case, the passage.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Verses upon the Burning of Our House by Anne Bradstreet (excerpt) Thou hast a house on high erect Fram'd by that mighty Architect, With glory richly furnished Stands permanent, though this be fled. It's purchased and paid for too By him who hath enough to do. A price so vast as is unknown, Yet by his gift is made thine own. There's wealth enough; I need no more. Farewell, my pelf; farewell, my store. The world no longer let me love; My hope and Treasure lies above.

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Remember theme: The lesson learned, or the overview on what the author is attempting to convey to you.

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

What do you think he is trying to message you about? He speaks about what? His hopes and treasures lie above; he doesn't need wealth to satisfy himself. So what can it be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which one would be correct.. I realy don't know

OpenStudy (milanitaly1618):

Can you re-post the question please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yahh sure

OpenStudy (milanitaly1618):

Ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What view of life does the theme of this passage represent? the connection between austerity and spirituality the evils of depending on others for material goods the necessity of planning what you build the relationship between salvation and an afterlife

OpenStudy (milanitaly1618):

Hmm I might need to see the passage....

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Back, and he speaks about the WORLD, and explains his moods to it, then 'up above'. HE POSTED it. Look in comments.

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

or she*

OpenStudy (milanitaly1618):

k...I didn't know I just got here.

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

B and C seems the odd ones out;

OpenStudy (milanitaly1618):

Yeah, I think I'm leaning more towards A....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so which one would br correct

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Like she said, I am leaning to A. D seems ok, however, not likely; he doesn't speak about salvation.

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

He hints his satisfaction is from above, but that doesn't necessarily mean afterlife.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so A would be correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes A is correct. thanks guys

OpenStudy (milanitaly1618):

No problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks again

OpenStudy (milanitaly1618):

:D

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
