Cannot view your function. Pls find another way to share it.

function: g(x)= x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x^ 2 is x to the second power or x squared)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

x^2 is could be called either "x to the 2nd power" or "x squared."

ok right now im doing math not language that will be later

OpenStudy (mathmale):

If the given function is g(x)=x^2....What are the input (x-) values? Finish the following table for the given function. x g(x) 3 5 7 9 This does not look like "x^2" to me. Were your function actuallyl x^2), then your output values would look like 1, 4, 9, 16, ... (perfect squares). But your output values 3, 5, 7, 9, ..., are NOT perfect squares. So, what other function (not x^2) might produce the outputs 3, 5, 7, 9, ... ?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

If I'm reading this problem correctly, your job is to come up with (invent) a function that will produce the outputs 3, 5, 7, 9, ... from 3, 5, 7, 9, ... Please go back and read the question again. Note the instructions: "Start the independent variable x at 3 and use an increment of 2."
