what is the difference between. absolute monarch and a constitutional monarch

a constitutional monarch is a monarch whose power are limited by a constitiutional . a absolute monarch ,is when Absolute monarchy or undemocratic monarchy transmits absolute powers to the monarch who acts as a dictator or head of the state.

OpenStudy (wach):

A constitutional monarchy is a governmental system headed by a king or queen, but does not have complete power: their power is limited by a constitution which delegates different responsibilities, such as the power to write legislation (like laws) to a legislature (a body of people). In an absolute monarchy, the head of state has all of the power. There are no 'checks and balances', to say.
