Can someone help me with this concept. Petri net. What is petri net ? What it is used for ?

OpenStudy (johndenver):

you may ask these guys https://assignment.essayshark.com/

I may help you!

A Petri net is one of several mathematical modeling languages for the description of distributed systems. A Petri net is a directed bipartite graph, in which the nodes represent transitions (i.e. events that may occur, signified by bars) and places (i.e. conditions, signified by circles).

OpenStudy (knov):

Could use an example ?

OpenStudy (knov):

okay, what's this ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

petri net example.

OpenStudy (knov):

well, i see that. WHat's going on there ?

OpenStudy (reemii):

As said above: "A Petri net is a directed bipartite graph," I think the intuition that comes from this is: each states evolves (using the directed edges) from "client" to "server", then from "server" to "client". It's like the modelization of the evolution of the dialogue between a client and its server. "Question & answer" stuff. (I'm just guessing...)
