Which of the following lifestyle changes could help to lower risk for colorectal cancer? Incorporating 1 or 2 alcoholic drinks per day. Lose excess body weight. Avoiding excessive physical activity. Increasing consumption of red meat.

OpenStudy (saucvi):

These are the things stated that increase your risk. You would want to do the opposite of these or something to improve these. Thus, what do you think the answer is?

OpenStudy (saucvi):

Also a quick tip: if you take key words from your question and use cntl+f to search these key words, it'll usually take you to your answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it increasing consumption of red meat

OpenStudy (saucvi):

Not exactly. A risk factor stated is a diet that involves a high intake of red meats. This being said, you should probably avoid an excess consumption, right? Lacking exercise, and heavy alcohol use is said to increase your risk, correct? So it probably should not be A,C, or D. Look at B. It said being overweight increases your risk, so shouldn't you make sure you have a healthy body weight, and if you are overweight a way to get this is losing extra body fat, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so b is right:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):
