OpenStudy (pphalke):

find the intercepts and use them to graph the equation y-2x=0

OpenStudy (pphalke):

OpenStudy (aveline):

Let's put y on one side of the equation: y=2x Substitute 0 for x to find the intercept.

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

the intercept is Zero

OpenStudy (pphalke):

I got that down do so would y intercept be (0,-2)?

OpenStudy (aveline):

No, it's (0,0)

OpenStudy (aveline):

https://www.desmos.com/calculator Type in y=2x There is only one intercept at the origin.

OpenStudy (pphalke):

an the x intercept would be something like (-2,0)

OpenStudy (commonlizer):

Yes what Aveline said since it is 0 it is intercepts at the origin so it is (-2,0) because -2,0 is on the origin line which is the X axis

OpenStudy (commonlizer):

(-2,0) which is on the left side of the Y axis
