Lets use two factors of 54...what are two common factors of 54?

OpenStudy (logan13):

D

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Not quite. Two common factors of 54 would be 9 and 6. Lets set this up. \(\Huge{\sqrt{9 \times 6}}\) Now 9 is a perfect square which means that there is a number that multiples itself to equal 9 which would be 3 so we take it out and place it `"outside"`. \(\Huge{3\sqrt{6}}\) Do you understand my process?

OpenStudy (logan13):

A

563blackghost (563blackghost):

No it would be B the final answer would be \(\Large{3\sqrt{6}}\)
