OpenStudy (pphalke):

@bmk614 @563blackghost

OpenStudy (pphalke):

if I did that I get 3(0)+15=0 and get 0+15=0 then get 15 strangeee plz help

OpenStudy (bmk614):

No. You need to solve for x, so get it by itself on one side.

OpenStudy (pphalke):

how do I do that?

OpenStudy (mykie):

Start by subtracting both side by 15 Then 3x = -15 divide both sides by 3 x = -5

OpenStudy (bmk614):

Subtract 15 from both sides 3x=-15 Then divide by 3 x=-5

OpenStudy (bmk614):

This is going to be a vertical line at x=-5, because no matter what value you have for y, x will be -5.

OpenStudy (pphalke):

so it would be (0,-5) first then (-5,0)???

OpenStudy (bmk614):

No. just a straight up and down line at (-5,0)

OpenStudy (mykie):

No idea where you're getting that information from. But since the answer is x=-5 It'll be (-5,0)

OpenStudy (pphalke):

OpenStudy (bmk614):

at x=-5 put a straight up and down line.
