Fan & medal, 1 question... Cho and Jeff each bought a used bike. Jeff's bike was not on sale and cost the same amount as the original price of Cho's bike. Cho's bike was on sale for $20 less than the original price, and her total cost was half of what Jeff paid. How much money did Jeff pay for his bike? A. $30 B. $10 C. $20 D. $40

OpenStudy (leozap1):

I'm stuck between $20 and $40. It says Cho's bike was on sale for $20 less than the original price, and Jeff paid the same amount as the original price as Cho's bike. So that makes me think $20. It also says that Cho paid half of what Jeff did so that makes me think $40. I honestly have no idea, it's so confusing. D:

OpenStudy (cyber405):

40$...The original price for both is 40$ and Cho paid half of Jeff because Cho's bike was on sale for 20$...

Oh! Thank you so much. I feel so dumb now, lol.
