@bahrom7893
Please help. i need a brief explanation. Walk me through one, and then let me go through the next one with you
@rebeccaxhawaii Can you please try and help me??
@Elsa213 Can you please help me
Can someone please help me todayyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@welshfella Pleaseeee help me
I would really apreciate it
Illl use sqrt instead of the square root symbol - I sometimes have trouble with the equation editor sqrt6(sqrt2 + sqrt3) = sqrt 12 + sqrt 18 now factor 12 and 18 so that one of the factors is a perfect square 12 = 4 * 3 and 18 = 9 * 2 so sqrt 12 = sqrt 4 * sqrt 3 = 2 sqrt 3 can you simplify sqrt 18 is a similar way?
sqrt 18 = sqrt 9 * sqrt 2 and sqrt 9 = what?
3
Ok. I think I get it now! So you basically use the distributive property?
@welshfella ^
yes
Ok. Can I do the next one and then you correct me
so finally we have 2 sqrt3 + 3 sqrt 2
ok
remember by definition sqrt x * sqrt x = x
So, how do I simplify the first one? Becasue they are not like term radicals
