OpenStudy (sbuck98):

If I'm finding the median of a data set, and the median is two numbers what do I do to find the median from there?

OpenStudy (sbuck98):

In order from least to greatest the numbers are 119,121,142,216,241,280,293,353,387,389,432,455,460 The median I got was 293,353. What should I do from here?

OpenStudy (mysticfury):

if there are 2 numbers in the middle, you find the mean of the 2 middle numbers aka add both of them up then divide your total by 2 :) for example 4,5,6,9,10,15 6 + 9 = 15 15 divided by 2 = 7.5 so 7.5 would be the median then

OpenStudy (sbuck98):

So the median would be 323. 293+353/2=323 @MysticFury

OpenStudy (mysticfury):

yes
