Can anybody help me?

Directrix (directrix):

Post the question so that we will know if we are able to help.

satellite73 (satellite73):

sure what with?

OpenStudy (llamasaremine):

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

imagine we have something like this http://ceemrr.com/Geometry1/HingeTheorem/paste_image1.gif notice how as the angle H increases, the side opposite it (the rubber band) stretches out. So the idea here is that the larger the angle, the larger the opposite side

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

http://ceemrr.com/Geometry1/HingeTheorem/paste_image2.gif

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

So because `angle DCA` is larger than `angle BCA` this means `segment AD` is longer than `segment AB`

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

let me know if this makes sense or not

OpenStudy (llamasaremine):

no sense what so ever

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so the animation makes no sense?
