how do i find relative frequency

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

relative frequency = (frequency)/(total number of values)

OpenStudy (anonymous97):

total number as in amount of values or all the values added up?

OpenStudy (anonymous97):

and frequency refers to how many times it occurs?

example http://mba-lectures.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/image_thumb5.png there are 6 values in the class interval 6-11 relative frequency = 6/100 = 0.06 there are 23 values in the interval 12-17 relative frequency = 23/100 = 0.23 there are 100 values total (add up all the frequencies)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
