OpenStudy (ambermarie151):

A line has slope -4 and y-intercept (0,-2). What is the slope-intercept form of the equation of this line ? A. Y=-2x+4 B. Y=-2x-4 C. Y=-4x-2 D. Y=-4x+2

OpenStudy (paledeer):

The answer would be C by process of elimination But here is how you would do these in the future. Slope-Intercept form is\[y=mx+b\] With M being slope, and B being Y-intercept. Now to find your B you have to set it up like so -2= -4(0)+b Then you do simple algbra to get -2=b Then you just add in and build it. Y= -4x -2
