Correct? http://prntscr.com/b57cut

OpenStudy (stacey):

No. You have the variable portion correct, but not the coefficient part.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so bc. next 75 is just x result that x^2 not can being right - yes ?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

So it's B?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I don't really understand what you are saying @jhonyy9

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Please share your work. Try to find the LCD, and then show how you would use the LCD to modify each of the two fractions, so that you could combine them into one fraction. Please let's not deal in "So it's B?" requests for confirmation without sharing your work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bc. next to 75 is x and not x^2 so x^2 not can being LCD never right ?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Example: I agree that 75 would have to be part of the LCD. We already have 75 in one of the fractions. To get 75 in the denom. of the 2nd fraction, we have to multiply the numerator and denom. of the 2nd fraction by 3. See if you can use this same principle to find the x component of the LCD and then go on to find the y comp of the LCD. Then modify both fractions so that they have the same denominators.

OpenStudy (stacey):

Yes. It is B.

OpenStudy (stacey):

75 is the coefficient because for the LCD you need a number that both 75 and 25 go into.
