Plz check my answer... http://prntscr.com/b5agii

satellite73 (satellite73):

nope

satellite73 (satellite73):

\[5x+y=1\\ y=-5x+1\] would have a negative slope your line has a positive slope

OpenStudy (anitas.):

Doesn't what I chose have a negative slope?

satellite73 (satellite73):

yeah your choice, C, has a negative slope, but the line pictured has a positive slope, so C is wrong

OpenStudy (anitas.):

oh.. so it's B?

satellite73 (satellite73):

no not B since that one has a negative slope as well...

OpenStudy (anitas.):

How do you know if it's a negative slope or not?

satellite73 (satellite73):

|dw:1463521600335:dw|

OpenStudy (anitas.):

oh I feel dumb...it's C since it's positive...

satellite73 (satellite73):

no dear, not C

satellite73 (satellite73):

i think i have confused you, lets go slow

satellite73 (satellite73):

ignore the less than or equal to and look only at \[5x+y=1\] or \[5x-y=1\] two lines

satellite73 (satellite73):

the first one \[5x+y=1\] if you solve for \(y\) you get \[y=-5x+1\] has a negative slope so it is not that one

satellite73 (satellite73):

the second one \[5x-y=1\] solve for \(y\) you get \[y=5x-1\] has a positive slope

OpenStudy (anitas.):

I mean D

OpenStudy (anitas.):

@satellite73

ILovePuppiesLol (ilovepuppieslol):

saying random letters doesnt do much :P

OpenStudy (anitas.):

I'm not... I mistakened the number

OpenStudy (anitas.):

My final answer is D... thats what I'm gonna go with
