help? :(
OpenStudy (jtvatsim):
Do you know the formula for the volume of a cone?
rishavraj (rishavraj):
see u got Volume and height of the cone...
so u can calculate the radius ...
and once u get the radius find the area :))

yes. and I did it and I got a estimate of what it could be but idk and i only have 20 mins left ..
OpenStudy (jtvatsim):
what was your estimate that you got?
OpenStudy (winsteria):
the first one i'm probably wrong though
rishavraj (rishavraj):
@winsteria whts the radius u got??
OpenStudy (winsteria):
i dont even know

You can also use the idea
\[\Large V = \frac{1}{3}*A*h\]
V = volume of cone
A = area of circular base
h = height of cone
In this case,
V = 52
A = unknown
h = 8
Using this method, you don't need to find the radius.
OpenStudy (winsteria):
52=1/3*a*8
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
yep then solve for A
OpenStudy (winsteria):
how...
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
I'd start by multiplying both sides by 3
