Sure. Question?
OpenStudy (agent0smith):
Solve them *almost* exactly the same way you'd solve an equation.
If you can solve 2x + 3 = 5, then you can solve 2x + 3 <5 in the same way.
OpenStudy (roxy.girl):
\[4k-1\ge-3\]
OpenStudy (rebecca):
When you plug in K
4k-1 should be greater than -3
OpenStudy (agent0smith):
Could you solve 4k - 1 = -3?
If so, do the exact same thing here.

OpenStudy (roxy.girl):
would you add 4 to both sides?
OpenStudy (rebecca):
Nope remember that 4k=4*k
OpenStudy (rebecca):
You would first add 1 to both sides.
OpenStudy (roxy.girl):
I think I got the answer...\[k \ge-0.5\]
OpenStudy (roxy.girl):
Is this right?

Correct c:
OpenStudy (roxy.girl):
YES! thanks <3
OpenStudy (agent0smith):
The only thing you have to remember:
is to flip the direction of the > or < sign, ONLY when dividing or multiplying both sides by a negative number.
otherwise solve inequalities the same as if there was an equals sign.
