again, not first person so that's an easy one to cross out. It's also not third objective because the author is showing emotions It's also not third limited because the author uses "the boy" and "the wise man". I think it is third omniscient

OpenStudy (kimberlyevens):

Thank you @allys88

I think we can rule out situational irony because the miner based on how he does not contradict himself through his actions. I think it C dramatic irony because the reader knows the old man is the stone yet the miner doesn't.

OpenStudy (kimberlyevens):

Thank you

Your welcome if you need any help just ask. For these types of questions, just review the rules and definitions to get comfortable with them and it becomes easier to identify them if you do. Good luck!

OpenStudy (allys88):

sorry its kind of late do you still want me to answer them with you

OpenStudy (allys88):

ill answer them anyways lol so the first one is c i think because it is foreshadowing his new relationship with his friend.

OpenStudy (allys88):

the second one I think we can take out b because it never says anything about the stones representing something so it is not a fact. We can take out c because we know the same amount of information as the characters do. So now we have A and D left It could be A because the passage does display some of the emotions of the boy I don't think it can be D because the passage is too short to go into depth on characters so they are basic characters introduced. Also, there is no climax or even a conflict to create a rising action narrative

OpenStudy (allys88):

so now with the third one, it is mostly based on context. If you know the definition of the word, you can apply it to the circumstances to get the specific definition used in this case. The answer would be embarrassed because abashed can either mean embarrassed or ashamed. The king has nothing to be ashamed about so therefore the only logical answer would be embarrassed.

OpenStudy (allys88):

hope this helped sorry its so late

OpenStudy (kimberlyevens):

np thanks
