OpenStudy (bobcz):

I need help with this one math problem it really confuses me! A = -3(a + b - 1/3c) 1. c = 3A - (a - b) 2. c = 3A - a - b 3. c = 3a + 3b + A 4. c = 3Aab I think it's the first one but I'm not really sure...

OpenStudy (welshfella):

I'm assuming that the last term in the parentheses is ' one third c'. First we multiply everything in the parentheses by -3 9(we 'distribute' 3 over the parentheses) A = -3 * a - 3*b - 3 * -1/3 c A - -3a - 3b + c OK so far?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

* that's A = -3a - 3b + c
