@TheSmartOne

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

1/x + 1/y LCM is xy (x + y)/xy

OpenStudy (jazzy):

Okay so what do I do after I find the LCM?

OpenStudy (jazzy):

@TheSmartOne

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

What did you find the LCM as?

OpenStudy (jazzy):

I am not sure how to do this :'(

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

We need a common denominator. Easiest way to do this is to multiply the first fraction (numeratorior and denominator) by the denominator of the second fraction and multiply the second fraction (numerator and denominator) by the denominator of the first fraction.
