OpenStudy (hicklyfe123):

Solve a = d+c/b for d. d = ab - c d = ab + c d = a/b - c

OpenStudy (will.h):

a= d+ c/b we need to solve for d just like solving a normal equation \[a= \frac{ d+c }{ b }\] 1st mnultiply both sides by b \[b(a)=d+ c\] second subtract c from both sides \[b(a-c) = d\]

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

@Will.H no - how you made this in this way - not is right d+b a = ---- c a d+b --- = ----- cross multiplie and get 1 c ac = d+b subtract from both sides b ac -b = d +b-b ac-b = d so than the right answer d = ac -b hope you understand it right sure easy good luck was my pleasure
