This is the same thing I've been working on. I'm scared to turn it in because I don't trust all my own answers.

OpenStudy (mathmate):

If US$1.00 = 0.699 Euros, and you are exchanging 128 euros, I would expect to get more than US$128 (about 50% more) !!! :)

OpenStudy (dinorap1):

I multiplied 0.699*128. That's not the right way to do it?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so you can using the rule of 3 simple easy $1 usd. ------ EUR 0,6991 $x usd ------ EUR 128 -------------------------- x = 128/0,6991 = ?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

That is the number of Euros from US$128. This is the way to do it: |dw:1464548781829:dw|

OpenStudy (dinorap1):

What did you do? I'm confused. Cross multiplied and then...?

OpenStudy (dinorap1):

Oh I see.
