Algebra 19 Online
OpenStudy (magentama202):

HEY! can someone give me a hand with this Alg. 1 assignment? Looking for explanation not answer... Part A: Explain why the x-coordinates of the points where the graphs of the equations y = 4−x and y = 2x + 3 intersect are the solutions of the equation 4−x = 2x + 3.

satellite73 (satellite73):

because y is equal to y

satellite73 (satellite73):

meaning this \(y=4-x\) must be equal to this \(y=2x+3\)

OpenStudy (magentama202):

Oh, thanks! So now do I solve for x and y?

OpenStudy (magentama202):
