OpenStudy (tori1423):

Determine the truth value of the statement. If a triangle has at least two sides equal, then it is an isosceles triangle. True False I need a check i believe its true

OpenStudy (welshfella):

I guess it depends if you can call an equilateral triangle isosceles also.

OpenStudy (tori1423):

See that was my problem

OpenStudy (welshfella):

Yea . Can you consider an equilateral triangle as a special case of an isosceles? I suppose its how you define an isosceles triangle.

OpenStudy (tori1423):

Ok thank you

OpenStudy (tori1423):

Im going to take a logical guess lol

OpenStudy (welshfella):

http://math.stackexchange.com/questions/991767/can-an-equilateral-triangle-be-an-isosceles-triangle-too - this is a discussion on it. I would go for True personally.

OpenStudy (tori1423):

https://www.quora.com/Can-an-isosceles-triangle-be-an-equilateral-triangle I chose true and it was right @welshfella

OpenStudy (welshfella):
