use the verb shown below to complete the sentence: nous/avoir (please help ill fan and medal)
nous____ quinze livers quest ce que tu___ pour le petit dejeuner? il ne___ pas les responses parce qu'il n'etudie pas vous___ la table chez vous elles___ chaud je___ que paris est en france quest ce quelle___ le weekend? ils___ en classe
You need to use the forms of avoir. That's: Je : J'ai Tu: as Il/Elle: a Nous: avons vous: avez ils: ont. Pay attention to the sentence structure because some are negative.
so do i have to make some of these negative?
For example: "il ne___ pas les responses parce qu'il n'etudie pas" We notice it says: Il (he) so we refer back to our list and we would know that "a" would be the appropriate answer. It's already in it's negative form it seems.
so it wouldnt be Il (savoir)
Savoir? As in "to know"?
wait never mind sorry i got confused for a sec
but if its a i dont think its right cuz i have to fill in 4 boxes and a is just 1
Remember: Avoir is just "to have". You cannot sturture a sentence in french like: "je avoir un chat". That does not make sense. You'd have to say "J'ai un chat".
Well your problem examples only have one space per sentence.
but it cant be a cuz on my worksheet it shows that it would be a four letter word
For this example "il ne___ pas les responses parce qu'il n'etudie pas"?
yes
oh wait im so sorry i read my worksheet question wrong
let me re write it im so so sorry
Logically that makes no sense, unless your class is using another verb that I did not see. It translate to "he does not have an answer because he didnt study"
Oh thats okay
i have to use the verb il/savoir il ne ____ pas les responses parce qu'il n'etudie pas
The form "savoir" or "avoir"
savoir*
Lots of good verb referrals here
how do i know if its present past and all that jazz
It's all going to be present
so sait
Yes
and what about the other one the first one where it says use verb nous/avoir nous_____ quinze livres
@Ashleyisakitty
