Gives the measure of
hint: angle M and angle J are adjacent so angle M + J = 180 know where to go from there?
Oh so this has to be 180 degrees then?
So j is 34
?
Hi there, Welcome to Openstudy! :-) How did you come up with the answer 34? Keep in mind at <M and <J are consecutive angles, they equal 180 degrees. (when combined)
66 + J = 180 J = ?
34
j=34
No...try again, how would we isolate the J?
Hint- subtract
114?
180-66=?
144
sorry 114
Well done :-)
And that would be our answer.
if its j, one side angle wouldn't i cut that is half ?
Nope, keep in mind that the angles are next to each other which means they would equal 180 (only in a trapezoid)
oh ok, thanks
You're welcome ^_^
Can you help with another problem?
I can try :)
Which of the events below is most likely to occur? Select your answer and justify mathematically why this is most likely to occur. 2 points for your answer, and 3 points for your justification. a) Rolling doubles with two six-sided numbered dice b) Drawing red card from a standard deck of 52 cards c) Flipping a coin twice and getting heads both times d) Drawing an ace from a standard deck of 52 cards
Can you post the question on another post. I am unsure of this question hopefully someone can help.
ok
