My answer

OpenStudy (lynx):

\[\frac{ \frac{ 1 }{ 4 }+x }{ \frac{ 1 }{ 2 } }\]

OpenStudy (lynx):

My answer\[\frac{ 4x+1 }{ 2}\]

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

To?

OpenStudy (mjdennis):

You have reduced that correctly.

OpenStudy (marcelie):

i think itll be easier if you find the lcd for the top portion

OpenStudy (lynx):

I did reduce it to \[4x +{\frac{ 1 }{ 2 } }\]

OpenStudy (mjdennis):

(4x+1)/2 was correct. 4x+ (1/2) is INCORRECT Because: (4x+1)/2 = (4x/2) + (1/2) = 2x+(1/2) Got it?

OpenStudy (lynx):

Thanks
