I'm afraid I might misguide you if i try this one. Geometry in UK is quite a bit different to the US.

what i can tell you is that as CM is perpendicular to AB then angles 1 and 2 are equal (both 90 degrees). Also the side CM is common to both triangles. So in UK method we would say that triangles CAM and CBM are congruent due to 2 angles and corresponding side.
