OpenStudy (bigmoee19):

How do i post a picture?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

For an equilateral triangle of side S, the altitude is \(\Large \frac{\sqrt3 S}{2}\).

sammixboo (sammixboo):

First, download your picture, then click here http://prntscr.com/be3pxu , select the image, and then click post

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Generally (probably most convenient) what most people do is to upload the picture file to an image server, such as prntscr.com. You will post the link to your image. Otherwise, you can upload a file of the image, but it takes more work for the helper. Some helpers don't open all types of files, some may not know how to download/open the file.

How about if im using a phone?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

@BigMoee19 if your phone has a camera and the problem is on a piece of paper, then use the camera to take a snapshot. If the problem is in digital form on your phone, then you can take a screenshot with many phone apps. I don't know what model your phone is, so it's hard to say for sure which app you should get. I would search the app store for something like "screenshot program" or similar. Once you get a hold of the image, upload it to any image hosting site like imgur. Once it's hosted on the website, you can share the link for everyone to see it.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

if you're going the camera route, then hopefully your phone has easy ways to share whatever pics you snap
