A survey of college students that asked them about the mode of transportation that day used to travel to campus resulted in the following information: 120 students drove a car to school, 80 students rode a bike, 70 students took the bus, and 30 students walked to school. Find the number of degrees that should be given to each category, and create a pie chart that represents this data

First add up the total amount of students. There are 360° in a circle, so use this proportion to solve for the degrees for each category. \[\frac{ x° }{ 360° }=\frac{ number~~of~~students~~in~~category }{ total~~number~~of~~students }\]

OpenStudy (pphalke):

@peachpi how do I do that?
