@mathstudent55 @jenessa_2413

OpenStudy (pphalke):

@Mehek14 can you help?

OpenStudy (pphalke):

@skullpatrol

OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

did you try \[\frac{12\times200+10\times 300+8\times 540}{30}\]

OpenStudy (pphalke):

@misty1212 I get $9720

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

\[\frac{12\times200+10\times 300+8\times 540}{30}=\] \[\frac{2400+ 3000+4320}{30}=\] So 9720 does not seem at all reasonable.

OpenStudy (pphalke):

5544 but the answer isn't that its $324

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

How are you getting that?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Either you're using your calculator wrongly (not using parentheses) or you just aren't following order of operations.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Add the numbers on the top FIRST, and then divide.

OpenStudy (pphalke):

I see how $5544 worked I emailed my professor he wrote 324 ill have him check again
