OpenStudy (yumyum247):

i want the x axis in pie radian format

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

@phi

OpenStudy (phi):

are you supposed to graph this ?

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

yess

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

i want the x axis in pie radian format

OpenStudy (phi):

one way is to use a calculator in radian mode find the value at x=0, pi/4, and go up by pi/4 and plot those points.

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

This guy made a graph for me in radians online, cant u copy him tho??

OpenStudy (phi):

if you want a computer to do it, google "graph"

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

it wont be accurate n accepted by my teacher anyway..

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

you think google is stupid. Lol. @YumYum247

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

i did but am not gwtting the x axis in radian format

OpenStudy (phi):

are you sure it's not in radians? they may not show where pi is but x=1 probably means 1 radian, and x=2 is 2 radians as you know, pi is 3.14159... so it's not an integer. if you want the x-axis in fractions of pi you can mark them on the x-axis. I am guessing they want you to do this problem by hand??

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

Nope nothing is accepted by hand, this guy helped me make the x axis in pie radians yesterday.....uhhh thanks tho

OpenStudy (phi):

you can use desmos type in your formula under options, change the step size to pi/8

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

do i change the x axis from that ranch symbol??

OpenStudy (phi):

wrench symbol. see example

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

can u plz do it for me, i'll love you forever i promise!!!

OpenStudy (phi):

How about giving it a try?

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

ok daddy, i'll get back to yew in a minute

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

http://prnt.sc/bm8muj

OpenStudy (phi):

good start. now click on the "wrench" find where it says: step type in pi/4

OpenStudy (phi):

you should zoom out the graph so you can see the curve.

OpenStudy (fifciol):

I found this one, maybe it's easier for you

OpenStudy (phi):

btw, are you sure the 5 is inside the sin? I would expect it is outside the sin()

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

phi du u see that yellow triangle beside my function, i think it means sumyhing went wrong

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

i think fof ggot it

OpenStudy (phi):

you should use parens ( not brackets [

OpenStudy (yumyum247):

im typing the functions in its true form..
