Company B charges $24 per load and an additional $4 as service charges. Part A: Write equations to represent Company A's and Company B's total laundry charges for a certain number of loads. Define the variable used in the equations. Part B: Which company would charge less for 5 loads of laundry? Justify your answer. I don't really trust myself to help you as I'm not the greatest with math and I'm also in a rush at the moment. So I'll tag @pooja195 or @mathmate or @Jadeishere :)

Hints: "Per load" means that the amount is required every time there is an extra load. Although we don't know the number of loads, we can use x to represent the number. For example, if it is $5 per load, it costs $10 for two loads, $15 for 3 loads, etc. How did we get the total amounts, we multiply $5 by the number of loads, which we call x. So when there are x loads, the cost is 5x dollars. Service charge means it's a fixed one time amount, which we add to the cost from x loads, irrespective of the number of loads. So the total cost comes to 5x+15 if there is a service charge of 15 dollars.
