OpenStudy (parrio):

If a circle has a circumference of C, what is the area of the circle in terms of C?

Hi there! Seems like you are missing information of your question. Can you please add it? We need: -Circumference of the circle

OpenStudy (nonstopper):

If C is the circumference, 2piR=C. Therefore C/2pi = radius. Radius squared times pi = area. ((c/2pi)^2)*pi=area. In plain English: The circumference is equal to two times pi times radius. The area is equal to pi times radius squared. Manipulating the formula for circumference you get C divided by two pi for radius. Squaring that result and multiplying it by pi gives you the area.
