C is almost the exact definition, so that we can definitely cross out! It's supposed to be easy to read and understandable for the audience, something that is not contradicting to itself when it contains multiple ideas.

D is a feature, that is correct, but B on the other hand is not. In a parallel structure, no large amount of suffixes or forms of words is asked for. That's kind of silly to ask for in a proper English sentence. Sorry if this is hard to understand! If you need help I can try to explain it better... :)

Surpass In this context it's basically saying that everything that we have yet to understand or obtain knowledge of, we cannot fully comprehend it's depth. The 'vast stretches of the unknown' surpass our comprehension as a whole people

Go ahead ;) Lol kidding The second one. Simply by providing an example, people feel like they can trust the challenge to be successful for them, as it was for Mallory. It's called using "Ethos", a rhetorical device often used in English, to persuade an audience of going in your favor.

A lot of students have no interest in pursuing a college career, so more vocational classes should be offered during high school. It seems that high schools only cater to those students who want to attend college because only a few vocational classes are offered. Because not everyone should or needs to go to college, more vocational education should be offered in high school.

Well, three of them have a view or an opinion on when the classes should be offered 1) I don't want to go to college, aren't many vocational classes offered 2) vocational classes should be offered during highschool 4) more vocational education should be offered iin high school A neutral tone is one where there's not really an opinion of a matter, it's like stating the obvious issue with stating your opinion of it. So, 3 :)

You are definitely wayyyy too smart. Kennedy states that space expenditures will pay off although " . . .this is in some measure an act of faith and vision." How would you evaluate this statement in light of Kennedy's point of view on space exploration? Kennedy is trying to persuade the listeners to completely share his faith and vision. Kennedy explains to listeners that it takes faith and vision to follow a leader who takes risks, but most listeners probably won't support him. Kennedy takes a chance by acknowledging that there is risk in the cost of the mission. Kennedy is assuring the listeners that he has faith that the mission will have positive results regardless of whether or not they agree with his vision.

Well, he said you need both, faith and a vision. So the last one is out, claiming that you don't need the vision if you have faith. He never claims there's a risk, so that's not accurately representing or depicting the quote. So the third one is out :) Um, I'm pretty sure it's the second, but I'm not sure how to explain why the first one is out

Support is a logical quote, or a statistic that can be used to prove/support his claim Using the verbage; "survey" gives a statistic, making it seem trustworthy, so the second one :)
