OpenStudy (lili03):

2/3(9x+6)=6x+4

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

\[\frac{ 2 }{ 3 } (9x + 6) = 6x + 4\]

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

First distribute the fraction 2/3 to the numbers 9x and 6, inside of the parentheses. This is known as the Distributive Property.

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

\[\frac{ 2 }{ 3 } \times \frac{ 9 }{ 1 } = \frac{ 18 }{ 3 } = 6\]

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

\[\frac{ 2 }{3 } \times \frac{ 6 }{ 1 } = \frac{ 12 }{ 3 } = 4\]

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

So we get \[6x + 4 = 6x + 4\]

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

At this point, we can tell that our end result, after isolation x on both sides, we will get x = x. I am unsure of what you were supposed to do with this problem, but these equations are equal.
