Some nice Messages you sent me. :)
I don't mean to say anything, but could you please not post those direct messages? I understand that it's offensive and all, but showing it on here isn't going to change anything. You have proof and all I assume. Just, if a new user saw that and wanted to leave because of that, because of fear of a negative atmosphere etc, they would probably leave. Just trying not to decrease users. That and it's offensive message.
BTW, it depends on how long he's been here for, and when his bday is. Usually 7th graders are 12 or 13.
Awh Dallas don't be mean to Jabez :(
I agree with you Zeron. and poor jabez ;-;;
"I would not be going to 8th grade." It was all ur potential dude ;)
I'm sorry guys it just got on my nerves he said that about me i'm really sorry for real Please Forgive Me.:(And it's not right he comes on my post telling everyone that stuff about me.AND it's not even true.I'm Sorry Again.:(Also it's none of yals fault this happened it's all mine.:(
Well. It's okay, we all make mistakes, and we learn from those mistakes. Well, him saying that wasn't exactly a violation of anything. (At least I hope not.), although it was accusing which is a big no no. Sometimes our emotions get the better of us. It's ok. Just please make sure not to do that again, it could result in a suspensions, also, I am not sure if you've already been warned or not, so I have no idea if the mods are thinking, or already taken action. It's nice to see you taking responsibility though. Also @jabez177 please don't say to anyone you're reporting them. That will only make some people even more mad, which could also scare off new users because of the negativity. @DallasCowboys88 Also, try closing this thread soon! It's a nice message and all, but considering what the posts down below say, I don't think it should be here that much longer. So either way, it would probably get deleted.
KK Thanks Bro:)
BTW: I'm happy that everyone who has helped you, help you pass to 8th! That's awesome! Make sure to continue being awesome~
KK You to:)
I don't want to debate, as it would be spam on a closed post. You have your point, it would mostly cause more harm than good. Saying. "I'm going to report you" isn't going to stop their behavior, usually warnings do. That's all I have to say. Cya around.
Put fear into them to follow the CoC? I don't think that is how it works on here..
We want to give to users a big welcome, show them that OpenStudy is a great site to be on. We don't want to shove the CoC in new comer's faces and just say, "Read it. Follow it." It's just rude. As an Ambassador, I've learned the best way to welcome new comer's. Say hello, give them positive energy, introduce them to the CoC, and answer any questions they have. Showing negative attitude can make someone feel the exact opposite of welcomed. Think of it. You are in a new place, and you run into a person. This person throws a warm smile at you, and maybe even start a small conversation. The conversation ends, and you continue on with your day knowing that this new place is a great place. Then, you run into another person. This person just frowns at you, maybe even scoffs. Why would this person act this way towards you without even knowing them? Is it the way you look? The way you walk? You wouldn't know. Now you continue on with your day feeling not so welcomed to this new place. I hope you can understand my point :p should stop before I end up writing an awfully written novel
