Elementary Statistics problem. List all the possible two-course selections. I don't know what it is to be honest. Can someone explain this to me. Thank you
There's only 6 different classes.
6 * 5 = 30.
For the other (a), I assume you click all the ones which do not have the same class together.
@Vuriffy tried to simply click on the ones that don't have same class together, and still can't pass this question. Any other hints?
it gave me a new set of numbers to work with after I kept getting the wrong answer. please help if you can. Thank you.
Only click the ones who have all three different values. See if it works for the three-course situation.
I honestly don't see any other way to combat this problem.
Now for (b) you have to do the diagram with the classes and then multiply all 3 ratios for your final answer.
(Probability). I am really tired right now, and need to sleep, so I am sorry I couldn't help any further. Try some help from someone else, I may just not be seeing it, because it's been a few months since I have touched base on this so I am pretty fuzzy on it.
@agent0smith @zepdrix @sweetburger Maybe one of these wonderful people can help you at this moment. Sorry I wasn't able to clarify what to do exactly.
@Vuriffy thank you for clarifying this. It helped me a lot. It's a simple problem after all :) . Thank you.
Can't see how many courses there are...?
