In an endothermic reaction: Heat is always a product. Heat is always a reactant. Heat must be released in order for the reaction to proceed. Heat transfer is not detected as a temperature change.

what is product ? what is reactant ? what is endothermic ? definitions of all these 3 terms will help you to find the correct answer. :=))
heat is not a thing
What do u mean by "heat is not a thing"?
heat is not a material substance
@UnkleRhaukus Oh oh okay. @Nnesha Thanks!
When there talking about these reactions they mean Heat=energy. Although heat and energy are not a substance when either are increased or decreased in a system the system will move to lower the added stress (le chatelier's principle). So in the terms of this question think about it like this \[Heat + AB \rightarrow A + B\] Energy is being added to break AB into its components A and B.
