OpenStudy (blazeryder):

To find the slope, you need to use \[m=\frac{ y _{2} - y _{1} }{ x _{2}-x _{1}}\] M = slope. Or just by looking at it you can tell the slope is equal to 0.

OpenStudy (blazeryder):

Next you will need \[y=mx+b\] M= slope and b = the y-intercept

OpenStudy (blazeryder):

Substitute the values and then you have your equation!

OpenStudy (sshayer):

slope of any line parallel to x axis=0 and eq. of any line parallel to x axis is y=b
